Photographs
We seek to respect individual privacy and identity. We require that all organisations submitting photographs have made it clear at their event that photographs are being taken for inclusion on www.marnhullmessenger.org.uk. This may take the form of a verbal announcement at the event or it may be included in writing on the admission ticket. Many photographs taken at such events will be larger group photos.
For any photographs of individuals or small groups, the person submitting photographs must confirm that permission has been obtained from each individual shown. If the subject or subjects are under 18, parental permission must be obtained. In addition we have to have permission from an individual, or a parent of an under 18, to link anybody´s name to a photograph.
If we feel unsure that these guidelines have been followed, we will not include the photographs or, in the case of groups taken at events, we will blur individuals to preserve identities.
We aim to ensure that all photos used are in good taste and unlikely to cause offence. If, however, you see a photograph you would like to be removed please contact the editor with details and we will review the subject matter with the person or organisation submitting it.
