Motcombe Village Hall has live screenings of works from the Royal Opera House, Glyndeborne and elsewhere.

‘We have recently installed a new “state of the art” 7.1. audio visual system in the Hall to provide you with a terrific viewing experience. A large satellite dish on the roof can connect us live with theatres, concert halls, opera houses and other venues all over the world, enabling us to bring the best of world culture to Motcombe in real time. This has all been made possible by generous funding from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, administered by the Northern Dorset Local Action Group.  We will be rolling out a varied programme of shows, some live and some pre recorded, using our new equipment. You can purchase tickets online for these performances on this site. We anticipate high demand so be sure to book early.’

Please note no tickets are issued.  In the booking process, you provide your name and you will receive an email payment receipt, which please bring to the performance.

Upcoming screenings are Don Quixote on 19th Feb, Faust on 30th April, Three Ballets One World on 16th May and Romeo and Juliet on 11th June.
