We were very pleased to welcome Tania and Pat to the April session of Ping-Pong Poetry. It was a beautiful evening and poems were flying off the page! It’s been hard to decide which ones to present but I hope you like what has been chosen.

Come along and give it a try. How it works is that two people collaborate and create a poem within a short space of time, normally 20 minutes. One person starts off with the first line and the other person adds the second line and then back to the first person etc. All that’s needed is a dollop of creativity; a big pinch of humour and lots of goodwill. It’s a great way of making new friends and doing something different.

We’re next meeting on Monday, 11th May at 7pm at the Poets Corner Café, Sturminster Newton.

We ask for a contribution of £3, which covers refreshments and a donation to a local charity, which has so far been the Air Ambulance.
