Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Monday 7th September 2009 at 7.00pm in the Village Hall..
Many members of the village came to the meeting to hear Mr Steve Graeser from NDDC report on the situation concerning the fields along the B3092. Mr Graeser reported on the action already taken and future actions possible. Mr Graeser then answered questions from the public regarding the concerns over the field. The Chairman thanked Mr Graeser for his time. He assured all villagers
that good communications with NDDC will be kept up through the Parish Clerk
and the village can assist this by reporting any activity on the field
to the Parish Clerk as soon as possible. 2009/091 Apologies for Absence 2009/092 Declaration of Interest. 2009/093 Minutes 2009/094 Financial Matters PAYMENT SCHEDULE After discussion it was proposed by Cllr Chant that the Parish Council use Blackmore Vale Forge to carry out the works on the gates both at the Recreation Ground and the Cemetery. This was seconded by Cllr Neal and all were in favour. After discussion it was proposed by Cllr Newton that the Parish Council use Tony Perrett Fencing to carry out the works at the allotment site. This was seconded by Cllr Chant and all were in favour. 2009/095 Planning Matters 2/2009/0523 Land adjacent to the B3092 Form track from existing access Application Withdrawn. 2/2009/0476 Lymburghs Farm Bungalow Raise roof height to form living accommodation. Grant of Planning Permission. 2/2009/0461 Baytree Cottage Repair and re-thatch roof and carry out internal repairs. Grant of Planning Permission. 2009/096 Reports from County and District Councillors PARISH – The kerb outside the Post Office will be finished in due course. The Chairman informed the Council that if the situation with excess mud on the roads becomes a problem then it should be reported to the police at the time and to DCC. The Chairman thanked Cllr Young for all his hard work in getting and installing the new Notice Boards, the clerk also thanked Cllr Young and Cllr Newton for assisting with the installation. It was proposed by Cllr Young that the clerk order two more grit bins for the Crown Estate, this was seconded by Cllr Neal, all were in favour. Action Item 13/09. Cllr Snow reported that he had booked Mr Stokes to cut the hedges running alongside the Recreation Ground. He also stated that he had carried out a Topple Test in the Cemetery and passed the details onto the clerk who is contacting the next of kin. Cllr Young requested that Councillors visit the toilets in Sturminster
Newton or Shaftesbury car parks to get an idea of how suitable they might
be for Marnhull. 2009/097
