The following report appeared in the October 2007 Edition of the Marnhull Messenger.

Palace Court Football Club 2007-2008: 25th Anniversary Year

Football returned to the Marnhull Rec on Sunday 23rd September when the 1st IX entertained Team Gryphon in the Blackmore League Division 1, several matches having been played in both Division 1 and 2 at away venues.

We are pleased to report that all last season's players are still in the squad, with the addition of four home-grown recruits: Jack Kendall, Lee and Luke Wallis and Joe Phillips (Jack and Lee are already on the score sheets) as well as four other players.

Unfortunately the services of several players have been lost: Jordan Collins (with the dreaded metatarsal injury), Michael Koch (Broken leg) and Peter Clarke (end of season injury). They will be out of action for a while and we wish them speedy recoveries.

The Club will be competing in the Dorset County Sunday Junior Cup, the Blackmore Vale League Cup, the McCreery Cup and the Merthyr Guest Cup. First rounds of the County and League Cups will be played during October.

A Home Tie against Weymouth League side, The Queens, is scheduled for 7th October in the County Cup, so come and support our team if you can, Visitors are very welcome at all our games and refreshments are available at half-time in the Pavilion. Thanks once more to all our sponsors and helpers - financial and practical - we are most grateful for your input.

The Club trains at Gillingham School on Thursdays from 6.30 - 8.00pm and Home Games are played at the rec on Sundays, Kick Off 10.30am.
